Causes lug breakage, out of battery fires, mis-timing on auto, stovepipe malfunctions, etc. A standard M4A1 barrel in a SOPMOD BLKII would require an H buffer. Guidance we received was use an H or H2. Floated <u>stiffer </u>barrels that are regular or heavy or have sh*t on them to make them heavy (suppressors) can cause bounce. </p><p></p><p>Suppressing fire is semi auto as fast as you can pull the trigger...not suppressed fire. </p><p></p><p>We had absolutely no requirement for a heavy buffer for the standard M4A1 at first.</p><p></p><p>So if you aren't breaking lugs, shooting out of battery, or having failures to extract, eject, doublefeeds and bolt overrides, you're probably good. If you aren't having any issues with the H2 you got, then you're probably good.</p></blockquote><p></p>
