You could also consider 25-45 Sharps. The only thing you need to do is change out the barrel on something like a PSA AR15 and would keep you under the $800 mark. The ammo is expensive though but it performs REALLY good on coyotes and pigs both. Its flatter shooting than 762x39. Its a .257 (6.5mm) out of a 223 Rem case

My cuz in AR loves his, though he also uses CMMG Mutant 762x39 that I turned him onto

First off I want to thank everyone for their time and opinions. I valued them all and I made a decision that I thought was best for me.

I ended up going the gun in the picture. Only different is the one I ordered has the M-lok vs the key mod!

How did I do? What do you all think?

For varmints in low light conditions, I like an illuminated reticle or dot. The fire dot from vortex looks like a normal reticle when not on. Just the very center dot lights up when turned on.
