I just found out today that Arby's has taken their potato cakes off the menu.
This is probably some stunt IMHO. I'll probably never know since I'm not likely to go back.
Their roast beef has always been marginal but I really liked the potato cakes.
End of rant.

Irrelevent to your taters but subways tuna was tested recently and it was said that there was NO tuna dna in it ? Some of bill g's first foods ?
Steve Lehto has been following this case on his YouTube channel. It sounds like the "no tuna!1!11!11! wE HaZ TeStz!1!1!" claim is mostly junk science--basically, they're testing for something that you can only find in the fish before it's processed for consumption.

Never had Arby's potato cakes, but Sweetie made potato patties that were delicious.

She'd make buttery mashed potatoes first (instant works great), then mix in enough flour to make patties that would stay together, and fry 'em in a skillet (bacon grease is best). You want them browned, but not burnt.

They were soooo good. :drunk2:
