I battle with that thought as well. An isolationist policy hasnt always worked out too great for us either though. A lot of times we rely heavily on these smaller countries around the globe, especially ones with close proximity to potential threats, to strategize and leverage things in our favor. I think a lot of our view on interfering in these types of scenarios is to discourage anyone from gaining momentum in their goals of expansionism.
I have no idea what the right answer is, I have just learned that sitting on the sidelines comes with its own set of risks as well.

Russia is standing up for traditional values and Christianity...the roles have flipped...we are now the evil empire due to wokeism...and they won't back down...these are lunatic, delusional people (the left)...they want to do to Russia what they have done to us. The woke marxists in the USA are the new caliphate and the Chinese and the Russians and everyone else knows it.
