Armslist is Dead??

Look at the other side of things.
Maybe this site is one less site for us gun enthusiast to buy sell trade.. Can't let the gun grabbers take our sites away. We should be supporting the gun sites just like OSA...
Just my thoughts.

Armslist is no more than a classified ads site to me. I look for local dealers advertising there and then go directly to them.

Same for me, was there ALOT. Made many sales, buys, trades. Left the day they got greedy. Ain't been back.

It's dying slowly. I used to have all sorts of interest on guns I posted for sale on there. Now, not so much. It could also have to do with the economy and inflation. People don't have as much disposable income anymore.

I do have a problem paying to look at listing.


You think you should be charged to enter a business?
Maybe Wally should have a $5 door charge.

Before the fees, there would 8-10 pages of individual sales listed. Now, hardly any, just dealers.

bandwidth is insanely cheap. running a site like armslist was/is far simpler than even running a ubb like this one. other than modding for scams/fake ads, there's not much to manage on armslist. it's not even a forum to my knowledge.

not saying it *should* be for free, but i mean the *entire* internet used to be and always supposed to be free.
