The doc said that it should be pretty much pain free when it is over. I have been in pain for years.
I’ve walked 3 5k’s in the last month. You will not regret your decision.
I don't know about a knee ... never done one of those (thank goodness!) ... but the difference with my hip was amazing. Up walking on it the afternoon following my replacement in the morning. A co-worker had literally been bouncing off the walls trying to walk on his totally shot hip. He finally got it replaced, and didn't even have a limp after recovery. You will be so glad you did it!

I made it through the knee replacement. It was rough and therapy has been brutal. Seems to be healing slowly and getting a little better everyday, but still hurts.
I want to thank all of you for the prayers and well wishes. I believe in the power of prayer and I think you guys helped me pull through this. I know I am tired of being in the house and I can't wait to get these staples out and see the sun. lol

Glad you made it through OK. Yep. The physical therapy is vital. I know it hurts. Especially in the beginning, it hurts a lot. But it makes a huge difference in the end. You will be glad you stuck with it!
