Asking for Thoughts and Prayers

Our youngest son, Eric, had a coughing fit some time back due to allergies and broke some ribs. While treatment was given then, it has been almost 2 years and his ribs aren't healing back together properly, so this morning he goes into the first of two surgeries to have something done to help stabilize the ribs and allow them to knit back together. Poor kid has been sleeping on his couch for all this time to limit how much he moves around at night while sleeping.

We are asking for the thoughts and prayers of all we know, so this includes those I know on the forums. Please keep him and the medical team in your thoughts and prayers.

Horrible ordeal.
Friend in grade school had something like that. Not his ribs, I think it was a leg that would not go back together.. They put him on a lot of calcium that did the trick and man did he grow taller real fast after that.
