My understanding is that they do not expire unless some statement of lifetime is explicitly stated in the trust. Mine states that it is to exist as long as legally allowed in the state of Oklahoma (I honestly don't know - does OK have a trust lifetime determination?) I chose to do a trust for my NFA items so I can easily add/remove people as needed. I can change co-trustees easily. A buddy needed a suppressor for a competition, added him to the trust, let him borrow the can, when he brought it back I removed him (he "resigned").
All my NFA items are stated in my trust by description and serial number.
Folks this has a good chance of passing. But even if it don’t this time. It WILL soon. If anyone thinks the republicans will save us you need to think again. If you think Trunp will not sign it think again. This is the same president that said to take the guns then worry about due process later. This is also the same president that ordered the justice department to do whatever they could to get bump stocks banned. And it isn’t just bump stocks. It’s “rate increasing devices”. It was an illegal move made by the ATF at Trumps behest. Trunp os no friend of the 2A. I wouldn’t be surprised if he supports this crap. Now we also have a red flag law that worthless Marco Rubio introduced. And I can guarantee it will pass. That bill will be a huge Trojan horse. Our 2A is being eroded away while we sit here and do nothing.
What are our options? I can only guess who will or won't do this or that. Our type folks don't seem to take to the streets and vandalize stores so I guess we aren't heard. I think I've voted as best I could and joined/donated to those who seemed to represent my thinking. At this point, I guess I'll decide when the problem is in the front yard how to deal with it. Idk. I'm all ears.
When they come to take your guns away after you have said "No!", then it'll be 1776 all over again. Their intent will be clear. Their intent will be undeniable. Their intent will be diabolical, tyrannical, despotic, Fascist, Marxist, and enslaving. That is when you'll need to make your choice - freedom or servitude, self reliance or dependence, pursuit of property or communism, pursuit of life and liberty or not being allowed to strive and live long enough to achieve either.
One choice is easy but demeaning, the other choice is hard but rewarding. The choice you make will determine the future of our posterity for many generations. Choose wisely.

They are already taking guns. They don’t need us to say anything. These worthless traitors are smart. They know exactly what they are doing with gun control. They are a patient bunch. A little here and a little there. But we are being faced with something different now. The left is way more radicalized than it has ever been. People like Cortez, and her like. They are willing to do anything to get what they want. And they don’t hind what they want either. They aren’t afraid to say it. But why not? We don’t ever do anything to stop the gross infringement on our God given rights. Most of our reps and senators are committing treason as we speak. They are actively working to eradicate the constitution. We know this is happening and yet we do nothing. It doesn’t have to be a full on assault from them. It’s a death by a thousand paper cuts. When it comes to the 2A it is plain. Shall not be infringed. Period. Yet, we are told what we can and cannot own. We have to pay the government for permission to carry a gun. We have to pay the government a “tax” to be able to own sbr’s, suppressors and other things. We cannot buy any newly manufactured machine guns. The government knew when they passed the Hughes amendment that it would cause machine guns to go up so high in price it would effectively ban them. Almost everyone will never be able to afford one. The same corrupt government keeps on taking from us and we do nothing. It’s always the same thing. We belly ache about them doing it and then talk about how we need to call and email our reps which does absolutely no good. If it did we wouldn’t be in the shape we are in. These traitors know the only thing standing in their way of changing our country into a socialist/communist country is us armed citizens. This is why they are doing everything they can to try and wipe out the 2A. They want “assault weapons” and “high capacity mags” banned because they know those are the closest things we have to actually military weapons. They know the less rounds we can put in a mag the less of a chance we have. They know exactly what they are doing make no mistake. They will not stop until they’re goal is realized. And it’s happening right before our eyes. Our country is not that same country it was even 10 years ago. It is rapidly changing for the worse. Neither the republicans or the democrats care about this country. They only date about money and power. And they will say and do anything to get it. How many times have we been promised things and then when we elected the person they did the opposite of what they said they would? Take Obama care being repealed for instance. Just a big lie from the republicans. They’re just as guilty as the democrats. It is up to all of us to save this great nation. And if we aren’t willing to fight for it then we deserve what we get.
Yes they will. Pray that it will be the other side that bleeds the most.
We must also be willing to lay down our life for this cause. This would not be a cakewalk. But do not be disheartened. Halfway around the globe in Afghanistan less than 15,000 irregulars have held back the US military for about 15 years. Only a fool would say that we control that country. Strength is in 'will and cause', not numbers.
