Where were you in 67? We 1141's had to do all the mechanic work back then, PM's, oil change, grease fittings, yard rotations. MotorT did the engine work. We would have gladly welcomed you into our group.
While at Cherry Point they started giving us 400 cycle generators. We knew nothing about them. Lots of electronics. The were training us up on them the idea of creating a new MOS For Generator Operators. Wonder if that was what evolved into Generator mechanic?
