"Eighteen other planes took off without incident from Imam Khomeini International Airport in the hours after the attack on Iraqi bases".Just a thought: What if Iran says it shot down that flight by mistake because they meant to shoot down a different one?

Sounds like they got the one they were after?
That pretty much the gist of what I said too LOLMost likely. If they hadn't, they would likely have kept shooting until they did.

Who doesnt see it, I bee following it for days.Educated Iranians, of which there are many, are well aware of how lousy their government is. This shootdown appears to have precipitated widespread protests which will hopefully lead to a regime change. President Trump is voicing support for the movement. Unknown to most Americans, there is a large, rapidly growing underground Christian community in Iran. The protest chants of the crowds are against their own Theocrats, not America or Israel. You may have seen the images of mobs walking around large US and Isreali flags chalked on the sidewalk by pro-government support who expect the crowds to stomp on them to show disrespect and anger.
There appears to a revolution going on there..."Why doesn't anyone see it?": https://nationalpost.com/opinion/te...n-in-the-mideast-why-doesnt-the-west-see-that
