The same thing happens to me on the interstate so it's not just country roads. In fact today was behind someone doing five to seven under. Got in the lane to pass and got beside them and they were doing five to seven over so I couldn't pass. Meanwhile some jackwagon wanted to ride my bumper, like couldn't see the cars lights in the rearview mirror. After I get past the car who didn't want to let me get through they slowed down to five to seven under again.... It's irritating and it's constantly happening. The other one is the person who will tailgate you in the right lane. I have the cruise set right at the limit generally 70 when this happens and they will ride you for miles like it's going to make me go faster. I kick the cruise off and slow down, they then whip out and stomp it, as soon as they start to move over I resume the cruise. Had one set while on 44 headed to Wichita Falls ride me till I was in the 40's and not go around, finally gave em some brake lights and they got off my tailgate. If you want to go faster and it's multiple lanes GO AROUND. You ride me and I am just liable to take and kick the cruise off and downshift. The other one that irks me is the people who weave in and out to get one or two cars ahead or are just blowing your doors off passing but insist they are "going with the flow of traffic." Let me give a little lesson in that one "Flow" is directionality water "Flows" downhill while this can be at different speeds. What you need to be doing is the average velocity. If you are passing MANY more cars than you are being passed by yo are not traveling at the same average velocity of traffic.
