Be careful what you read hear. Even what I write. I had 360 total back fusion 10 days ago with Dr. Cox, NeuroScience Specialists. I had been seeking help with back pain for about 18 months. I saw Dr's at Mercy Pain clinic and McBride. My condition was getting progressively worse. I had knee replacement surgery last September and that aggravated my condition. I sought a second opinion after the back DR at McBride did not take a new MRI's after knee surgery. The Neurosurgeon compared old mri and ordered a new mri and said surgery was warranted. I spent three nights in the Spine Institute hospital and came home. I am up and about, but if I weren't retired I would have 6 weeks of recuperation before returning to work. I am still in the early stages of recovery. The doctor said I would progressively feel better. Already the persistent pain I had, now come and goes. Sitting in my easy chair last night and watching TV for three hours aggravated things a bit so i am uncomfortable this morning. Don't rely on any of us shade tree surgeons here to diagnose your condition. Go to your Dr. listen to him. And, good luck
