She and her friend was doing the responsible thing walking instead of driving. Don’t know the encounter, but you police types think it’s illegal to walk home with food. Freedom be damn. Papers please.
Intoxicated or not, you don't go to jail just for walking home from Taco Bell. Obviously there is a lot more to this story than you are willing to share, but that's not surprising.

Guess you’re not from Norman that’s not surprising.
No I'm not, but I don't need to be. Not even in Norman will someone go to jail for simply walking down the road, even if they happen to be a MIP. The lawsuits would bankrupt the city. Like I said, there's more to this story than you are willing to share or possibly know.

Here, but occasionally There.
I do believe what I want to believe.

And,no...I've never had an encounter with police in Norman. Then again, I avoid shady places like Taco Bell.

Awww, Man....

....don't you know that you are supposed to put emoji's in your sarcasm posts? Otherwise, folks might think you were serious.

We lived in Oregon for 17 months volunteering as managers of a retreat and reunion center. I think we tried just about every restaurant in Grants Pass, OR and found all of them to be lacking. We still have a standing joke that (like in the movie "Demolition Man") that Taco Bell (and Dairy Queen) were "fine dining." (Especially considering the prices of food in the regular restaurants.)

They won the Franchise Wars. Now all restaurants are Taco Bell
