My wife has a Smith and Wesson 40 ve she was thinkin about letting me trade.. She WAS okay with it. (it was her dad's and he's gone)

We'll I was gonna trade for an AR 7.62x39 upper from firemedic 712 and the dude got all worried and said he was posting this conversation?

I didn't do anything wrong. I just moved here from Kansas.. I've told everyone this.. I have nothing to prove I'd even show my drivers license.

I cracked a joke about "I'd have to be stupid to pull something" it's a GUN SITE we don't sell and trade leggos..

Dude was super pushy and just freaked me out.. I wonder if he's been scammed before..

If I’m reading this correctly you made a deal and then when the meetup was planned decided to pass on the deal. Right?

I might make the same decision if someone had no feedback and a non local number.

I am not going to take sides but there are some simple rules everyone selling or buying a gun here should follow.

1) Do not list a gun for sale unless you are sure you want to sell it. It is bad form to back out of a sale at the last minute.
2) Once a sell is agreed to both parties should complete the deal with no changes. No backing out, no low balling once you meet.

You may have a problem getting anyone here to trust you. We are not snowflakes, more like the old west where a man's word was his bond.

In todays world with everybody having a cell phone a non-local number should not have anything to do with it. I've had the same number for 20+ years. (253 Pierce county WA area code).
