When I was in high school, one of my friends drove an early model DeSoto that had an automatic transmission and also had a clutch. I never really understood how it worked, I never drove it, just rode with him on occasion.
I drove one my teacher owned. Fluid Drive IIRC.
Sorry. Can't say Oklahoma. That is in Utah, just a short distance from the town of Kanab, where we are working as camp hosts in a small RV park. This area is OVERLOADED with beautiful scenery, and there is BLM land everywhere for those that like off-roading.
