[QUOTE="jakerz, post: 3140944, member: 18966"] So, I’ve always wanted to try a crossbow. I’m 32 and shot my first one last year. It was a buddies and I thought it was pretty cool. Cool enough for me to drop a few bucks on one this year. This same buddy and I are wanting to setup an archery blind for hogs and coyotes to hunt at night. We thought it would be more challenging/fun to do it with bows over rifles. The blind is somewhat compact and slightly difficult to draw a bow in. Thus, the crossbow fits a need (at least that’s what I tell my wife). Anyhow, being new to it, and not knowing if it was for me or not, I didn’t want to spend a whole lot of money. I did some research and shopped around and settled on the Barnett TS 370. I was able to pick it up for $345 shipped and it was ready to shoot out of the box. From what I read online, Barnett had a few sketchy years in QC and CS around 2010-2013. But have since learned from their mistakes and are back building nice xbows again.
