Bass caught my wife!

My wife and I went fishing Sunday morning, she caught a nice fat 2 pound bass, then it turned around and caught her!

I failed to get a picture of the bass, but I did manage a picture of my wife's hand, before I got the hook snatched out!

We had to cut our fishing trip short though, so my wife could go get a tetanus shot, but we will be back!

Didja snip the barb and pull it out backward or didja jus YANK IT!

After about 20 minutes or so, I jus yanked it!

When I pushed down on the eye of the hook, it rotated and the barb went back in, so I snatched that puppy outta there.

I've pulled out lots of hooks from other hands and other than crying kid's, it didn't bother me. With my wife though, she said it looked like it hurt me more than it did her!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that after pulling that hook out, and putting it back on the lure, my wife actually continued to fish with that same lure! I was and am quite proud of her.

From Brenda: My hubby did a great job..... it's really not very sore at all! Sure wish we had gotten a pic of the Bass though. Can't wait to go catch that rascal again!
