I have an Arsenal Ak SA93 bought when Bill Clinton was President also have an Arsenal SLR101S bought about six years ago it's every bit as well built as the SA93

The SA 93's are considered by many to be the best AK platform rifle ever imported into the US. One of our members (RKM) actually has one that he may be planning to take to Wanenmacher in a couple weeks. Shoot him a pm if you're looking for one. I am considering getting an arsenal. There is one on Atlantic firearms that is chambered in 5.56 NATO. Only problem I see is the magazines are about $50 a piece! I will be using this rifle for home defense and a shtf rifle. Would this be a good choice or should I get either a 7.62 or 5.45 arsenal?
