Take the short drive to Guthrie and try Stables on the corner of Division and 33. Ate there Sunday and it was outstanding.

I've heard its really good from several people.

I like Backdoor BBQ on 23rd and just west of Broadway

I'm kinda partial to George's Happy Hog on Culberson, just to the NE of the VA complex. Nothin' fancy though.

For an upscale experience, I like Iron Starr on NE 36th.

Ken's in Amber is awesome, if you don't mind a little drive. It's between Tuttle and Chickasha

Ray's in Norman is pretty darn good. That and the previously mentioned The Butcher are the only places I go anymore for BBQ.

Haven’t gotten there yet but it’s on my list.
