Best budget AR drop in trigger?

I've got a Ruger and dpms ar, both triggers suck big time. Feels like 20 lbs pull. I have no love for AR in general this just adds to the cheapness.

I flat out am a LaRue MBT2S fanboy. I think they're up to a hundred bucks or so now, but they are a heck of a trigger for the money.

Not a fan of the drop in cassette style triggers but like mentioned above the larue triggers are good to go

I love the Rise RA-140 triggers. I've used the flat and curved ones. They are typically my go-to drop in unit. Find them on sale for 80ish and they are a fantastic value. I've also used a RRA two-stage which was also super and probably in the same price range.

There is a dealer that used to sell the RA-140's at the gun shows for $89 out the door if you paid cash. That was a few years ago so they've probably gone up a little, can't remember the name of the dealer, Battle Armament or something like that? I think they were in the 41st/S 33rd West Av area, but not sure.

Little more work to install but my trigger after working it in to smooth it up (rope trick) it pulls between 4 and 4.25 pounds .
