Keen works well for me. More hiking looking though.
I've gone through a few pairs of Keen over the last several years. actually having room in the toe area is so nice. One of the only footwear brands i can buy in the same size but different style and always fit. i switch between Keen and Thorogood for work wear.

New Balance 990's --

Have also picked up a pair of Skechers "Relaxed Fit" slip ons at Sams Club recently that i had to return for being too wide

I lost some weight in the last year and my foot width is down from EE+ , -- but still too wide for standard D widths

Its a pain in the neck finding shoes now also when i'm in in the in-betweens

I've had good luck with Keen but only in the USA-assembled hikers, finding anything that works means I have multiple NIB pairs waiting their turn. New Balance keeps changing designs on same shoe number and working depends upon which year's model, and even in their extra-wides end up needing to buy several sizes larger to get the width needed up front. A lifetime of struggle finding footwear which works for me, and sure wish it were otherwise.
