Finally got back and loaded phone vids to YouTube.
The videos don’t reflect the roar of the rocket nor the sonic booms that felt like someone punched you in the chest but they were impressive to say the least. Taken from a boat rolling in waves at 3 miles from the launch pad.
Enjoy.

It's said our world will be rocked with the noise and violence of the rocket blast. It will be a couple miles away, but the world's largest, most powerful rocket in history should put on a big show.
Hope they know what they are doing.
You know how a bunch a rednecks are when building the biggest rocket can be.
Guidance system could be faulty or something.
Be ready to dive.

I met an Old Codger in Colorado back in 07, we visited for a while. He was very interesting. He had worked for Texas Instrument in the beginning computer days, when He was a young man. His son had followed in his footsteps in electronics and worked for a private company. He said that He could not tell me the Company Name for some different reasons, but they were testing Rocket Engines on a Remote Island that they had purchased. I think He told me in the Philippine Island area. His son was working on a system to shut off Rocket Engines on command and restart on command, if I understood him correctly. At that time Most Rocket Engines burned to completion Once fired, no way to stop them if something is going wrong.
I now wonder if what Space X is doing was connected. Not a big deal, but you never know who or what kind of people you meet out on the road in Travels and Work.
He did say they had the technology to change the Space industry, but everything was being extensively and privately tested on the Island.

Prob enough sensors in place transmitting data to pinpoint problem. Read on the news it might have been some kind of fuel leak before it got to the engines that ignited. Yep running on the edge of technology can have some problems. Not quite like going out and starting your car to go to the grocery store and not expecting an engine fire. I am sure they will get it worked out. Thanks for posting the pictures. I am envious you got to see this live. Wow, what an experience. Thanks for sharing.

It was a brand new fuel system design they were testing, this flight. I'd say it didn't pass.
