I see it is also available for Hi-Power. Might get one to play with on a 10 mm RIA full size I recently picked up although I don't have any issue with cocked and locked.

I had a Browning hipower with it and a Kimber pro carry that I got from Budman bill that had it. I wouldn't have another ,just use the pistol as designed and it'll be fine

Yep. Hi Powers came with the SFS in 2003-'04.

After additional consideration I concur. More moving parts equals more opportunities for malfunction.

FWIW, the one I had on a .40 Hi Power worked flawlessly. Cylinder and Slide has been doing those conversions for 15 years. Bill Laughridge is no fool when it comes to Hi Powers and 1911s.
