The OP's post (#1) was [in part] about government use of technology to track a vehicle vs a private care dealer (post #46) using technology to track a vehicle. Yes, both entities are tracking a vehicle but there is a big difference in why and maybe even how.If the technology exists it will be abused. If the technology is mandated by government the intent is abuse.
