Biden can do whatever he wants. The courts won’t stop him. The scotus refuses to even hear 2A cases ( even though they don’t override the constitution). And even if the courts did do something. It could drag our for years. And in the meantime we would be disarmed. War is inevitable. And if enough don’t have the courage it’s over. Our country is progressing toward communism more quickly than I could have ever imagined. Nobody is standing up to these tyrants. We cannot rely on our elected officials to save the nation. Most are too corrupt. Besides, we will never have a free and fair election again. The left got away with cheating and they will never give up that power. 2022 won’t matter. Neither will 2024.

I believe we have public education to thank for this. They have been indoctrinating and conditioning the young for decades now. Socialism is good, America is bad and we don’t need borders or patriotism. I do fear for this country

Most of my discussions with gun control proponents end up in the 'well we have to do SOMETHING' pile. It usually comes when asked, do you really think that a person who is capable of walking into a store and killing 10 random people isn't going to find some way to accomplish that? The scary AR is an easy target whereas mental health et al are too big and complicated to process. Obviously choir preaching.

Only answer I see is more good people with a gun. Outcomes in these 'mass shootings' will likely still not be good, but at least there's a chance of minimizing the toll.

I am going to make a point to engage in conversations with people that disagree. It's frustrating, but you never know..

The "we have to do SOMETHING" argument is one of my pet peeves, right up there with "because we have always done it this way". Change for change's sake is not beneficial and tradition for tradition's sake isn't either in my opinion. I typically run into those counterarguments during corporate mergers/restructuring projects and political discussions. Neither of those arguments require any knowledge or critical thinking and are typically used to avoid both knowledge and critical thinking. I have found that a lot of the time, we all agree on a big picture goal, but vehemently disagree on the proposed solution. I would absolutely love it if low income kids had the same opportunity to move up social classes as middle class kids. I dont think throwing money at the parents will solve that, but some do. I would love it if we never had to have the thought that we needed to scan our surroundings and make mental plans for a violent attack while we are walking through a mall with our kids, but I dont believe restricting gun rights from law abiding citizens will solve that.

I see a lot of these problems and disagreements similar to weight loss. Our natural tendency is to look for some low effort solution with rapid results even though we know it has no chance of any meaningful long term success. It is going to take looking at the true root causes of the situations we want to change, identifying a series of plans to start moving to our goal, and setting long term goals to measure our progress.

I also believe there are at least a few people in positions of power that have their own goals and aspirations that are willing to exploit our natural tendencies to trick us into cutting off our own arm for their benefit.

All each of us can do is engage our elected representatives and election process to make sure we are being heard. We need to raise our children to be aware of the shortcomings of the group think they will be exposed to every day and how to critically think through their own opinion and not be afraid to stand against the crowd. Popular doesnt mean right, ethical, or moral. We also need to be as educated in the foundation of our beliefs as possible so we can discuss disagreements without falling to the emotional traps of those we disagree with.

My entire adult life I have been sick of Democrats. I don’t care who I alienate. They are truly some of the most ignorant beings on earth. Guns protect us from them and their idiotic actions.

We need a Mahamazoid terrorist ban. We do not need radical extremism of foreign born in our country. These people are not compatible with our country, way of life, belief system, values, anything that is American. I love saying this but we have a democrat somewhere to thank for this shooting.

Diversity and inclusion of others that are not American born. They do not believe in our American ways or assimilate. But that somehow makes us stronger so the Democrats say. Just causes more division that helps their communist party. That is the Democrat mantra.

How about a ban of Democrats. It would’ve prevented this. Instead of them taking responsibility of their actions of letting these nut jobs into the country they want to ban an inanimate object that can’t do anything on its own.

Democrat logic put iinto perspective would be comparable to this. Instead of fining drunk drivers we’re going to ban all automobiles. That will save more lives. To call these people morons isn’t justice enough.

While this might sound radical. To my democratic friends, whether you realize it or not, this is what your party is trying to do to conservatives. The Dems wail about inclusion and diversity while trying to cancel everything that made America what it is. We’re actually going backwards.

The HR1 "For the People Act" is what will end the Republic. If they push thru this bill the Democrats will control both houses and the Presidency from now on. They are legalizing and expanding all the underhanded stuff that won them the election this time. Then an outright gun ban will be a must. They can't rule over us with an iron fist if we still have armed citizens. We will be a one party system just like Russia or China. Don't be fooled this is the Democrats ultimate goal. If the Republicans and State Governors don't stop them now we will be a communist satellite country serving China within the next 10 years. With our bought and paid for main street media cheering them on the whole way.
