I was gonna do that, just wasn't in the right place at the right time. I was also gonna put a little cheap video camera between the rails, but didn't get to do that either.

I've done that before flattened it and stretched it out twice it's regular diameter.

My kids with with my wife and put down a penny, dime, and quarter. The quarter got really thin and notably sharper on the edges.

I'd love to have seen a nickel since it's relatively thicker. But they didn't have any apparently.

Man I wish I could have been there. Love the old steam engines. They sound as if they are alive. You can hear them breathe as they sit and wait.

I have found a bunch of them with my metal detector. If I was going to do it I'd use ductape.
