[QUOTE="HiredHand, post: 3828745, member: 2469"] Mgssamn helped me out with a project that made use of 3d printing. He kindly took time out of his schedule to meet up to discuss the project. It was nice to talk in person and like the majority of my in person interactions with members of the forum, it was an enjoyable experience. I know that other members often quietly go out of there way to help other members out and that’s one of the things that I most appreciate about this community. Anyway, here are a few pictures of the AR accessory mount that he 3d printed for me. I’m in awe of 3d printing technology and the quality of the objects that can be created. The in the first two pictures the original part is on the left and the printed one is on the right. I can’t believe how accurately the printed version came out compared to the machined part.
