So about industry average on that datapoint at least. Looks like the trend so far is that some stuff is average, and some stuff is a deal.

Its not surprising that non firearms are cheaper or a better deal. There isn't a ton of margin on firearms even though they are much more expensive. Thanks for posting up some stuff.

Midway has a Sig Scope/Rangefinder combo my buddy was looking at for $560, BDU has it for $317.

Same marketing philosophy goes for lots of other things. When I worked for a "major, national electronics company," the prices on TV's, VCR's, and computers reflected a low profit margin. However, accessories and parts had very high margins. And, back when I was in agri-business, it was the same way there. Even tractor and implement dealers got a larger margin on parts and really made their money on repairs.

Sounding like its a great place to buy gear...and just average for guns.
I'll keep it around for at least another month or so and see what else I can scrounge up but I cant afford to buy stuff monthly, even if its a good price.
