The one I shot had the worst case of mange of any I’ve killed.
Guess he was still eating well but he looked miserable.
Big dog ! He’d been eating well. Killed a huge female this year. 39 lb 8oz she was so close the wad from the 10ga was sticking out. I pulled it out before we drug her to the truck. Same day we killed a 42 lb 2oz male
that’s a 28” Barrel on the bps and I’m 6’1” we where third in big female by 8oz in the north Canadian hunt.

Killed another one this weekend weighed 39.1 had the mange bad. He was third in the big dog side pot in the cast and bang tournament. Oddly enough this late in the year one with mange will always be heavy if they survive with mange they have got to eat well and often.
