The WaPo’s inventive flip-flop on suppressors
Jazz Shaw Posted at 5:31 pm on June 3, 2017

..."While the fact check(Gilliband proven wrong) in question was still sitting out there for the world to see, the editorial board members (who possibly don’t read their own paper) pulled off a flip-flop worthy of an Olympic gymnast. As the NRA-ILA points out, they essentially called their own fact checkers liars."...

An ATF agent told my friend recently (who just got his FFL), that he didn't think suppressors have any chance of being removed and the reason is the gov't makes too much money on those tax stamps. Thoughts?

I agree along with the fact that most Republican Senator think it will cause crime

$5-6mil is just one senator's quarterly bonus. Hardly a huge chunk for the gov to worry about letting go.

I doubt they will easily let one single dollar go. Even if they barely turn a profit or no profit at all, they will do everything they can do to keep it.

I'm not sure why you all are getting excited over nothing. You think the guberment is going to get rid of a way to make money?

I could give a **** less about the $200 tax stamp, that's not even a good range day in ammo. Just put the damn things on a 4473 as if you are going through the process of purchasing a gun and have the FFL collect $200 upon same day aproval. What gets me is the pain in the ass of adding it to the trust, now even worse after the change, as well as all of the other paperwork, on top of the current year wait.
