I have to fit and time this break to the barrel, this ain’t an AR type ya just squish a washer till it’s timed 😉 so even if I got a black one when I machine the taper to meet the barrel it would be silver.

If it had any other stock, I'd say go for it!

Looks real nice, what are the details?
One of those projects ya wonder if you can do it and it snowballs into a money pit lol just an old Winchester 670 that was in some need of some love, took it completely down and polished everything in the bolt as well as making things straight, re-crowned the barrel was the biggest accuracy gain as it had lived with the barrel in the floorboard I'm pretty sure... now that stock blank came from Richards Microfit as a grade AA select California Claro walnut probably 8-10 hours fitting and shaping then 14 coats of BLO. Have a gentleman who is interested in it but the ol' 06 bucks a bit more than he would like so gonna add a break to tame it down! if he takes it home or not we will see but either way it's gonna be a lot nicer to shoulders :)

I've been using this for a while now with good results. Applied to clean heated part with airbrush and baked in the oven. I've used for HK builds and retro AR builds. Its thin enough it doesn't look like spray paint and it can mimic gray anodizing and parkerizing. They have various colors for matching factory finishes and I often mix my own colors to get the look I want.
