I dropped by Outdoor America yesterday and saw a couple of leather Blackhawk holsters for snubbies and wondered if anyone has used either of these models. They are similar in construction except the Speed Classic (below) utilizes an elastic band across the front (not too crazy about that)

This is the other one (pic stolen from ProGun40). I think its called CQC or something like that. This one was a little more expensive and it looks like it would ride a little higher than the other one.

Instead of starting a new thread I thought I would revive this one since it is the same topic.

Thanks to HarryBear I got the Blackhawk Speed Classic (top one in original post) and will give it a try. I have carried IWB for years but have been wanting to try this holster. I will wear it for a few days then report back.

Here is a picture on the belt

I was looking at one of these holsters yesterday. Googled it today and ran across this old thread. How did you end up liking this holster?

I've had one for several years and really like it. It's my second favorite J frame holster. My #1 is a used no-name pancake that I bought cheap on ebay.

Not very much. It did not pull the gun in to the body very well. Kind of floppity
