Just saying Get to Gore /Webbers Falls OK and stick your butt or boat on the river we got 30+ blues drifting yesterday from sunup to 1:30 pm.
2 of us fishing.
One I cleaned still had eggs in it.
Tossed quite a few smaller 2 lb fish back.
Largest one we kept was 24" long many were really close to that size.
They hit hard when they hit.

We explored the river and chased shad more than we fished it seemed.
So many fish in that river that if everyone that read this went there it would not hurt the fishing.

The bite was slow all night as I was told. We got in the water at 5:45 am and started chasing shad.
We had caught 14 Blues by 1 PM then the bite slowed way down.

Man the shad are buggers and were hard to get that day . Probably why the bite was a little slow.
Talked to a few fishermen and all said NO luck or just 2 in the boat all day.
My buddy Jacob and I felt pretty good we got as many as we did.

Here are a few pictures. We caught these in the picture before 1 PM.

Caught a sand bass and a couple small Alligator Gar also.
Tossed the small gar back Unharmed.
Jacob caught a mussel was his first one on rod and reel. I caught a big one decades ago in that river.
My sinker fell into it as it was open I assume.
