Was at the Bass Pro aquariums and Museum of Natural History recently in Springfield Mo. recently. Incredible facility. If you’ve never been, make it a destination. You won’t be disappointed. I saw a rifle on display that had been engineered by a gunsmith back in the day to be a straight pull vs a standard up-bank-forward-down type actions. The gentleman that owned it shot the world record big horned sheep back in the day. The hunter had a huge bio that was displayed in the Boone and Crockett hall of heads part of the Museum. Makes me mad I didn’t get the info card under the gun that is partially displayed. It showed to be on my phone screen but not the final pic. It used a system of levers, slides, etc to work. This a pic of the record Ram. He held several record sheep in different sub specie in his day.
