Yep, almost the entire unit. Just west of the Rio Grande Gorge

Thanks everyone, my first choices were in 34, but I didn't expect to get those at all. Good thing about this unit is that it's an hour west of a family vacation home, so I'll be able to make notes and continue to hunt it.

This will be my first elk hunt, I'm not sure it's set in yet.

Lol, these aren't whitetail. Huge animals. The gut pile from a big one weighs as much as a big deer in Ok.
I hope you look and prepare for a huge amount of work getting one out, taking friends and equipment to help get it out.
Since you have a vacation home there, you will know the effects of altitude on climbing and getting one out.
