Yes. For sure. I wanted kids for awhile until I saw so many guys I know get their lives, finances and spirits ruined by divorce that they never saw coming. Also the number of single women that I have met that left their husbands because he was “too nice” or they just wanted to “explore their sexuality”. Their words.

The Eastern European countries, though having had to suffer through the Communist totalitarianism during the Cold War, were actually done a favor by the Soviets; they were isolated away from the debauchery and materialistic cancer of the United States. Look at West Germany - a little slice of America, stripped of their "German-ness", and trained to be little American "mini-mes". The East Germans, however, were said to be the true Germans when the wall fell, as they were a time capsule, retaining the true "German-ness" due to their isolation from us. Now I'm sure they've all accepted our ways, too. We've spread our way of life all over Europe since WWII, and look how we've all "progressed". There's a reason the Afghanis rejected our nation building there. Who'd want our ways?

As for marriage, we did it to ourselves. We gave women "equal rights", allowed them to use the courts in their favor in divorce and child custody cases, trained our daughters that they shouldn't see boys as companions, but as competitors, and taught them that they not only can "do anything a man can do", but that a career competing with men is way, way more important and virtuous than having children and raising a family - that it is beneath them. So what do we have now? At least a generation of un-marriable women, that won't "lower" themselves to having kids, and are all set to fleece some poor guy who has the naivety to actually marry their tattooed up, mouthy as*es. I want grandkids, but even at least one of my teenage sons says he'll likely never have any, because "girls in his generation are trash". It sucks.

Hungary is also an authoritarian mess where democracy has died. That’s is a big con in my opinion. But some here would consider that a good thing as democracy is a liberal idea, authoritarianism is a very conservative one.

just to clear, in the world wide scheme of things, rep vs dem in the USA is identifying as a liberal conservative, liberal moderate or a liberal liberal. Unless you are anti democracy, etc.there are those with authoritarian leanings.

Even the North Koreans made propaganda videos in the past and everything they were bashing was our woke and liberal Hollywood culture. We are so open that the people that hate our founding ideals use the very system and the laws they don't like against us as a means to an end. Eventually if we don't wind up in an Orwellian woke authoritarian society, people are going to elect a right wing dictator and gladly allow that guy to end the wokeness and destruction of the traditional values,etc. Either way, the "hay day" of a liberal democracy (we're actually a republic) can only last about 200-300yrs according to scholars that know more about it than me. We get too decadent for one, but then feel guilty for our success and become self destructive and do things like import the 3rd world that is incompatible with our values and culture. The dictator thing doesn't usually work out too well either if you know what I mean.

But if we do reach the point of no return to normalcy in America, there is a spiteful part of me that wouldn't mind seeing the militant left have to live under a Christian taliban or GTFO.

I find it ironic that Western men over the years have softened in regard to their women, from keeping them subservient, to the point of not only letting them vote, but being more than equal to them. Now, we see many women in Europe who are openly welcoming in Muslim men who are bent on taking them right back to where they were before Western men gave them all of the rights they have - and worse. Maybe we should learn from the Muslim invaders as to what women really want?

No doubt! But the influence of America used to be baseball and apple pie and freedom, rugged individualism, etc. Now it is obesity, drugs, militant feminism, etc. You can debate whether exporting American values to other contires is the right thing to do or not (I prefer lead by example mostly), but you can't debate that what we are exporting is now totally different. The bureaucrats were setting up all sorts of gender studies and socialist pop culture stuff over there. Honestly, I think exporting wokeism is a good weapon...That's why china funds and promotes it here and doens't allow it in their country...they know it will destroy a nation...maybe wokeism is a good weapon against Islam...maybe that is why they fight so hard to prevent it?
