I got a .920 10/22 Hogue stock from a buddy. Of course, I just had a regular carbine profile, so I needed a new barrel. Really like suppressed as I already have one. Seems like it has good reviews and fit the profile of the stock.

Purchased from Action Arms in Tulsa. Darren seems like good people. Told me unit should be into his shop in 1-2 weeks. Stamp time is taking about 6 months with some as few as 4 months. Hopefully, this one is prison broke sooner rather than later. He beat the MSRP by 20% or so. I thought the price was good.

Anyone have experience with this barrel/suppressor combo?

I was thinking it was more like 10-11 months, but yes as an individual.

Nice. I've been tempted since I first saw one a couple months ago.

Says the barrel is only 9" long with the suppressor being 8". I wonder how the accuracy will be?

With my take down version, I can't tell any difference in accuracy swapping barrels back and forth.

Mostly the wife and kids like it to plink and not have to wear any hearing protection. It isn't an Anschutz, just a 10/22.

Thomas, have the buffers in both 10/22 actions, but thanks for the heads up. Now, anyone know how to quiet the 15-22 from S&W? I asked that question on RFCentral and all I got was crickets. When shooting suppressed that action is still loud in the ear.

I'm not worried about precision, I have other .22’s for that. I’m trying to entice a 9 yr old boy who doesn’t like loud noises to shoot more. Plus, I got a new stock which requires a .920 barrel. So, I had to buy this one, didn’t I?

Well like I said the barrel he is buying with the suppressor is only 9" long, about the length of the charger, and his barrel will not work on a take down. The shortest rifle barrel Ruger makes is 16 1/4" I believe with longer barrels also. My question was the accuracy between a 9' barrel versus the original length.
