All I have to say is WTH??? If boys wanted to join Girl Scouts, hell would erupt. My best friend is now Cubmaster at my old pack where I was Cubmaster 20 years ago. I "get it" including the female siblings at that age, and that's a good thing. At what point do we stop with the gender identity melding into one homogeneous group? Let the boys be Boy Scouts and the Girls be Girl Scouts. My cred- I am a third generation Eagle scout and my son is a fourth generation Eagle Scout. My father was one of the OG Ranger Scouts (you will probably have to look that one up). Ex Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, too many days in the woods/on the water to count.
