Until it splits or you loose it.

Or in the case (no pun intended) of autos, when the head gets mushroomed enough to prevent reliable feeding.
One thing I am very particular with on my brass is keeping tabs on the times loaded. I keep all my brass segregated in lots of 20 or 50. When one fails I toss the lot because I figure they are all then close. That way I also don't have a lot of mixed age brass. Am I tossing brass that is still good? Possibly, but after 18 years and thousands of rds. I haven't had a catastrophic failure upon firing.
