Too bad the citizens of Brazil suffer from the same type of .gov morons that we have here(that is if the .gov morons here got their anti-gun/anti-gun ownership way. TG for the 2nd Amendment and those that have upheld it thus far).

"BRAZIL — In the United States, it’s common for citizens to be armed while out and about. In the country of Brazil, however, citizens aren’t legally allowed to carry firearms with them. It’s also extremely difficult to even have a gun at your home."...

The bad guy had a gun, not to hard for the bad one's to get 'em.
1. Almost 60,000 people were murdered in Brazil in 2014, most with guns. While some Latin American countries have higher per capita murder rates, in absolute numbers, Brazil is the deadliest place in the world outside Syria.
2. "Brazil doesn't have a gun problem. It has a problem of illegal guns in the hands of criminals, especially drug traffickers," -Edson Moreira
3. The national mortality rate of 21.9 gun-related fatalities per 100,000 inhabitants — of which nearly 95 percent are homicides, while the balance includes suicides, accidents, and unexplained cases — is the second highest ever recorded. - UNESCO

I watch a lot of Active Self Protection videos on YouTube. I'd say more than 95% of them are from Brazil. It's almost always an off duty cop(s) that are involved in the ones that have a good outcome. They and the bad guys are the only ones armed.
