Yep, same here. When you cut a patty from JC Potter sausage, it’s dark red(meat) vs mostly white (fat) from Jimmy Dean and lately Blue and Gold.
Yes and it is usually $2.00 - $2.50 a lb. at Crest
Miss the days when I was young and almost every New Years day we would butcher a hog that we had raised all year and make our own sausage. Don't miss cranking that darn grinder tho!
