I still have a tube of Gunslick anhydrous graphite that I use occasionally. Makes it slicker than snot, but messy as all get out if you get it where it's not supposed to be. I'll have to give this stuff a looksee since they stopped selling the liquid graphite.

I forget who originally turned me onto this stuff but man, it makes a big difference. I have no interest in the company and I’m not a spokesperson for their product, just passing along a tip for those that may not have heard about this slide glide.

What does cold weather do to the stuff? I had a slide lock up due to some grease I used on my duty gun..I took it all off and went with Triflow lithium white. For competition and at the range I used graphite.

Warning on Graphite, it is a mild abrasive unless very pure, which most grades aren't, and it will corrode aluminum due to electrolysis, and is forbiden in the aviation industry!
