Browning Announced End Of An Era
Posted at 10:00 am on February 8, 2018 by Tom Knighton
    In February 2018,

..."Browning announced its Hi-Power pistols are no longer in production. “Current dealer inventories will be the last available from Browning for the foreseeable future,” the website explains. Supply is scarce, however, because availability to dealers ended sometime in 2017. New Mark IIIs or Standards are easiest to find because they were the last models to come out of the factory."...

Glad I got my Israeli police surplus, then. It is a very good gun, even if it is slightly uncomfortable to shoot.

If it weren't for that hammer bite, I'd be more interested in them.
As it is now, I'd have to send the pistol to Cylinder and Slide to have them do their beavertail magic and for the cost of that plus the pistol, it just isn't worth it.
