The last one still in velvet at my place showed up with velvet hanging and bloody yesterday.
What's a 'dink buck'?
Less that a B&C 150 net.
By this definition, I've shoulder mounted a few "dinks"...
And pretty much EVERY BUCK in east Texas is a "dink".
Mine are all bare-boned. A couple young 8's and a couple 10's. No big boys yet, but this guy might have hopes for next year.
I posted that with a high level of sarcasm.
A "trophy buck" is in the eyes of the beholder.
Buddy that's killed a couple of 150" bucks only has one shoulder mount. It's a 4 point forky that was his first deer.

Dinks are more like participation trophies
THE WHITETAIL ADDICT’S DICTIONARY
Dink: An off-hand term for a small buck that you have no interest in shooting or to use in reference to the deer your best friend shot.
Starting to get some bucks in. No shooters yet but some outside their ears already with no mass. Be interesting to see them in a couple of years.
My browning cams started taking some really crappy night pics. Had this guy show up. He's only 3 1/2 and was ran off by a smaller deer. That kicker might have some promise next year
