Any recommendations for a budget 20" upper, or just a good company to use? Just finished my first lower build. There are a lot out there and I'd love your input.
Ever buy a blem? How blemished was it if so.
I sell blems all the time. Most you can't find some have nicks wavy color to the finish etc
I have gotten a couple of their blems, the only thing I could find was minor color variation. They would not sell it if it was unsafe.
All my others are 16". Just wanted to shake it up a little.
You haven't said what caliber your looking for. That can make a huge difference in barrel length.

Without a lot of looking and linking, but consensus over the years has been that the 16" is probably the optimum length for that caliber.
You don't gain much other than aesthetics, and you might loose a tiny bit of velocity with the longer barrel.
That doesn't hold true with other larger calibers though.
