Why do you need the bracing? The decking boards will not be enough to tie it together and prevent warping?

The decking ties the top of the floor joists together. The 2x6 braces ties the floor joists together laterally and vertically. Stops swaying and bouncing.

I'm a glutton for punishment bro.....I'm building it out of 2x8s.

Back on the job. Set the 2 middle posts and running some more floor joists.

How far is the span between the posts ? Trying to figure in my head how to go about building the beam for the roof to sit on at the posts . The rest is easy peasy. You going to carry the shingles out over the roof or something else?
Vaulted.. or enclosed ceiling?
