I will need to go shoot them sometime next week.
Today is almost gone and wanting to test at 200 yards or farther with a chrony.
Some 168 tipped match kings and 155amax loads with different powders.

Hoping for close to 2980-3000 fps with the 155 in 30-06. that was close to where my 150gr performed really well.
Need to shoot some milk jugs with that also.
Just saying.
who is going shooting next week?

My 30-06 loads were worked up with the Hornady 165 gr. SST's with 49.4 grains of Varget. They came in around 2715 fps and grouped well. I worked up the SST's because they are considered more of a "hunting bullet", but they appear identical to an Amax. I need to cut both bullets in half so I can compare the construction.

I just wanted to take a minute and tell you that I appreciate the information you post on your reloading experiences and experiments. It is some good information.
