After 20+ years I finally drew my bull tag! Worried I wouldn't be able to go through with it due to cancer. I am fighting prostate cancer and after surgery to remove it I was told by my surgeon that it had spread to my lymph nodes. So he sent me to have radiation treatments. After the treatments were done and a long wait to hear the results, he actually told me they didn't do any good . I started on more treatments and after 40 of them I was finished with the radiation! One week later I was headed to my once in a lifetime hunt. My best friend and my son was with me. It took so much out of me just to get to the place I wanted to watch that I really didn't think I would be able to do it. On the first morning of the hunt I shot a 5x6. I am so happy and thankful for that experience. Don't ever give up on a dream because they can come true.
