I picked up a value pack of Remington ShurShot at Academy and when I opened it, 5 of the 100 looked visibly shorter than the others. They looked like .380 ACP! Upon closer inspection the bullet was seated WAY too far into the casing. Seems like poor QC to me. I wll try to run it through my Kimber anyway since its just practice ammo.

Burk,

Personally I'd not shoot the ammo if it has a variance of .020" or more. There's just no excuse for that from a major brand name like that IMO. And like Mike said you might very well cause you Kimber some real grief.

ETA: I'd call Remington and tell them about it. I had an issue with a box of Federal .22LR and sent them an e-mail. They sent me 2 free boxes via Fed-Ex without batting an eye and I wasn't even complaining, I was just inquiring.
