I got one in trade. A Bunn VPR only 1 coffee pot came with it.
Cleaned it up and had to google the instructions.
Odd how they work. But simple

I like the 2 warmers it has.
Could possibly use those too cook food on.
I took the lid off the top and the top burner has a thermostat on it.

I thought maybe i will trade it off sometime or use the parts to build something cool.

I do not drink coffee.
Have any of you tested the amount of heat the burners put out?

Never had one, but their commercial coffee makers are considered as good as it gets... you see a ton of them in restaurants. Their residential line looks to be on par with everyone else, but I don't think the reputation is that much better. I could be wrong about that, but in general their reputation is stellar. Always wanted one, but not enough to justify the higher price.

If some of you wanted to start dropping by the house for a $10 cup of coffee every morning, I could probably justify the investment in a commercial model. :rollingla

You place a box with donuts or fried pies behind the top burner. Being sure they are not touching, or have a shelf directly over the machine to place them on. You have warm donuts or fried pies with your coffee.

Ok I found out the thermostat under the lid that you must remove with 2 screws
is for the tank that holds the water.
With the thermostat off you get cold water and cranked up all the way you get boiling hot water out of the unit.
It was cranked up all the way before I messed with it.

So if you guys have one of these and the coffee is too hot for you then you could remove the 2 screws in the top and turn
the thermostat down some until it is to the temp you like.
